Every 3rd Tuesday of the month, now through May, Kanga’s transforms into a quiet, sensory-friendly environment. Lights are dimmed, music and TVs are off, and our staff provides tailored sensory activities to ensure every child feels comfortable and engaged.

PARTIES & EVENTS
How early can I arrive for my party?
Feel free to arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled party start time. If you arrive any earlier, your room may not be ready due to other parties occurring before yours.
What am I allowed to bring to the party? What do I need to bring?
You’re welcome to bring a cake, cupcakes, a cookie cake, presents, and the birthday child to your paid birthday party. All other items can be purchased from our café. We do not allow outside food, drinks or coolers.
Is a gratuity included in the price of the party or should I tip the party host?
Gratuities are not included or expected; but if you feel your Party Host did a great job, let them know you appreciated them with a tip.
Can we bring our own pizza or outside food?
We do not allow outside food, drinks or coolers in the playcenter. Our café offers a variety of food, snacks, drinks, ice cream, and frozen treats for purchase.
How many kids will one pizza serve?
Our large pizzas have 8 slices each. We can “double cut” the pizza to provide 16 slices, if desired. One pizza should feed 3 to 5 people.
Can we bring ice cream or an ice cream cake to the party?
Unfortunately, we don’t have a way to keep the ice cream from melting and we don’t allow outside coolers to be brought into the playcenter. Our café offers a variety of ice cream and frozen treats for purchase.
If my child doesn’t like cake, can I bring something else?
You’re welcome to bring a baked item such as cupcakes, brownies, or a cookie cake to your paid birthday party. We don’t have a way to store ice cream or ice cream cakes and we don’t allow outside coolers to be brought into the playcenter. Call us if you have additional questions.
Can I bring my own decorations, plates, and napkins?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own decorations or themed partyware; however, they cannot be set up more than 15 minutes before your scheduled party start time and must be removed no later than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled party end time.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Unfortunately, not. We don’t allow any outside food or drink to be brought into our playcenter. However, your party package does include various drinks per participant and if you need additional drinks we offer water, juice, Gatorade, and more for purchase from our café.
Is there a place to put presents/gifts in the party room?
Yes, of course! Feel free to bring gifts to the party; but party room space is limited, so please do not bring large gifts (e.g., bicycles, motorized cars or scooters, etc.) to your party.
Do we get a Party Host for the entire party time?
Yes! Your dedicated Party Host will take care of everything for the duration of your party.
Does the party guest count include the guest of honor/birthday child?
Yes, all child attendees count towards the total guest count. This includes the birthday child.
What qualifies as an extra child in a birthday package?
An extra child is a child, in excess of the number of children included in the party package (e.g., 10, 15, or 20 children), who attends the party and participates in open play.
Are infants (12 months and under) free with parties?
Yes, infant admission is always free at Kanga’s. In fact, we have a dedicated play area just for the little ones!
Is there an age limit for admittance to Kanga’s?
All ages are welcome at Kanga’s; but to comply with safety standards, certain attractions are separated by age, height, and weight.
Do you have party invitations?
Yes, digital party invitations will be emailed to you once the party has been booked and your deposit has been applied to the reservation.
What is a waiver?
A waiver outlines the risks associated with playing in our playcenter. We require waivers to be filled out by all customers before entry into the facility.
Where can I get the waivers?
We recommend parents sign waivers for their children in advance so it will be in our system when they arrive. Every customer is required to sign a waiver. Waivers are valid for 1 year and must be completed annually. You can complete and sign our waiver here.
Who can sign a waiver?
Every customer must sign a waiver online or upon entry to our playcenter. Guests under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Can you hold a party slot for me while I finalize my plans?
Unfortunately, we can’t. Every party reservation requires a deposit for us to hold the spot. As soon as you’re ready, you can easily book your party online!
How will my party be run?
Our staff will get you and your guests checked in and show you to your party room. The kids can go off to play for a bit while your party food and drinks and being prepared and delivered to the party room. Once the food and drinks are delivered, the kids will be called to come back to the party room for food, presents, and cake. Once the festivities are complete, the kids can go back and play for the remainder of the party time. Parties are 1.5 hours in length and the party room is available to you for the duration of the party. Once your party is complete, your party host will assist you and your guests in transitioning to our cafe area to continue playing.
How far in advance should I book my party?
To ensure you get the time and date you prefer, we recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance. The easiest way to book a party is to book through our website.
How many kids can fit in a party room?
Depending on the size of the children, no more than 20; however, we can accommodate much larger groups by combining multiple party rooms or hosting a private party. If you’re interested in a group or private event, please call us at (816) 339-5894 for more information.
What is the maximum number of guests I can have at my party?
A single party room can easily accommodate up to 20 children. If your party will be larger than that, please contact us at (816) 339-5894 to discuss options for a group or private event.
Is a deposit required to book a party? How much is the deposit?
A non-refundable $100.00 deposit is required to reserve all birthday parties. For group sales and facility rentals, a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the event price is required. Deposits are applied to the remaining balance at the end of the event (whether birthday party, group sale, or facility rental).
My child/guest has a food allergy. How do you handle this?
We will do our best to accommodate guests with special dietary needs, but sometimes we may not be able to. If your child or guest has special dietary needs, please contact us at (816) 339-5894 BEFORE booking your party to ensure we can provide the accommodation requested.
Is there a place younger children (3 and under) can play?
Absolutely! Kanga’s has a dedicated play area for kids 3 and under and toddlers can ride our Pirate Ship swing as long as a parent or guardian accompanies them.
Can we have a party on a weekday?
Yes! We do parties 7 days a week! Weekday parties are great for families who want a less crowded experience in the playcenter and weekday parties cost less too! It’s easy to book a party any time online.
Can we bring our own music to the party?
Unfortunately, no. To ensure the enjoyment of everyone in the facility, we do not allow amplified music players or wireless speakers to be brought into the playcenter.
Can we bring a piñata to our party?
Yes, but only for decoration. To ensure the safety of all of our guests, we do not allow piñatas to be hung or broken as part of your celebration.
Can we bring a costumed character, magician, balloon artist, face painter, etc. to our party?
We do not allow outside performers (e.g., costumed characters, magicians, balloon artists, face painters, etc.) in the playcenter. This includes any parent, relative, or friend of the family acting in the role of a performer during the party. If you would like to include a performer with your party, please contact us to discuss private party options that may better suit your needs.

Do you sell food and beverages?
Yes! We have a variety of food, beverages, and frozen treats available for purchase from our café. We do not allow outside food, drinks or coolers to be brought into the playcenter.
Are socks required to play at Kanga’s?
Shoes are not allowed in the play areas. Socks must always be worn, by all guests, regardless of age. If you have a child or a guest that requires accommodation, please let us know!
Do you have specific attractions or times for people with disabilities?
While some of our attractions are adaptable for children with special needs, we also host periodic sensory events. During our sensory events, we quiet the playcenter, lower the lights, provide sensory toys, and provide safe spaces (quiet room), if needed.
When is the best time to come to Kanga’s?
Typically, Kanga’s is less busy during the week (Mon – Thu), while weekends (Fri – Sun) are busier. Monday and Tuesday are often the least busy days of the week.
Can I play with my children?
Yes, and we encourage you to do so! All our attractions are designed to accommodate use by adults.
If I have an issue, who should I reach out to?

Do you offer military discounts?
Yes, we do! We honor our veterans everyday with a 15% discount on admissions and parties. Just show your military ID at admissions or when booking a party to receive the discount.
Do you have beer or wine at your café?
No, we do not. We believe serving alcoholic beverages would compromise our ability to ensure the enjoyment and safety of all our guests. No alcoholic beverages, of any type, are allowed in the playcenter.
